Create  petitions for action by policymakers.

YI ONLINE STORE

A Yezidi artist, Aveen Ismail, is interested in helping Yezidis but doesn’t know how to go about making her talent be of help. A Native American wants to make crafts. An American Artist , Lexi Bell, wants to help with art project to raise awareness. How can we make their talent help Yezidis? Launch an online store. If you have ideas or experience and would like to make it a reality, contact us.

CONTRIBUTE TO OUR PROJECTS

Our mission is to empower the Yezidi community and preserve the Yezidi faith and culture. How can you contribute to our effort?

HELP SPONSOR REFUGEES AND GIVE THEM A NEW START

work with senators, lawyers, and Yezidis International members  to do what is necessary to sponsor traumatized Yezidi girls and children into USA, Canada, or European countries.

we have an organization who is willing to help but need others who will provide them with specific information, organize data, and communicate with a group of Yezidis in Iraq, Turkey, Syria, Canada, USA.

DIGITIZING YEZIDI CULTURE, RELIGION, AND HISTORY

There have been many genocides against the Yezidis. One needs to merely listen to old Yezidi songs and poems to be reminded of how today’s attacks are no different than centuries ago. Story telling, poetry, and songs committed to memory has been one of the few ways Yezidis found to be effective in passing down their history in a land where temples, cemeteries, and land are blown up and burned as part of centuries old attempt at ethnic cleansing and religious purification.

We are digitizing history, religion, and culture in through different methods. We welcome those interested in helping and collaborating.

ARCHIVE/DOCUMENT 2014 GENOCIDE

Collect videos and photos of what took place during the 74th genocide using methods Yezidis International is using or suggest your own ideas. Work with holocaust museums for guidance.

CHILDREN’S WEBSITE

Add more to our children’s website. http://www.childrenofezidi.org/ by take information from the main website yezidisinternational.org to educate school age children and the general public about the Yezidis.

 EDUCATE THE PUBLIC

There is  much misinformation about Yezidis due to different political agendas and greed. With the help of YI members educate the public  on current crisis, and how people can play a role in the solution.  Host a event at community center, congregation, school or get media involved.

EMPOWER THE COMMUNITY

One of the best ways we can help a community is

Scholarships for higher education

Sponsor refugees out of Iraq

Medical Relief Camp

Fund schools inside the camps and contribute to backpack program

Humanitarian Relief
